Every Sunday at 9 a.m. Pastor Jim DeGrado holds a Confirmation Class for our young congregates. Also, fun activities are organized for our youth throughout the year and occasionally, they participate in the Worship Service. Our children are very precious to us!
“Confirmation is an exciting class that helps all of us grow closer to God,” one of the students said. “We take lessons from the Bible and we compare our lives to it.” The series that is being used is called “The Journey” and it begins with the Old Testament and then moves into the New Testament.
Every three years our Evangelical Covenant Denomination holds a national camp called CHIC (Covenant High In Christ). Last year this camp was held and our church financially sponsored a camper and two staff counselors to attend the camp, which was held in Tennessee.
